Ms. Lebowitz began her legal career as an associate in the law office of Edward G. Rendell.  She subsequently served as an Assistant District Attorney where she successfully petitioned for certiorari review in Pennsylvania v. Finley, 481 U.S. 551 (1987) and regularly represented the Commonwealth in landmark litigation in the Pennsylvania state and federal appellate courts.  Ms. Lebowitz served as a law clerk to the Honorable Phyllis W. Beck (ret.) on the Pennsylvania Superior Court.  She has participated as a faculty presenter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and she has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University School of Law.

From 2001-2010, Ms. Lebowitz was a shareholder in Grant & Lebowitz, LLC.   Prior to forming her own law firm, she represented major manufacturers in products liability matters.  Her appellate representations have included issues in civil and criminal procedure, products liability, employment discrimination, and white collar criminal defense. As an appellate consultant she has worked with governmental entities, attorneys and law firms.  

In public finance, Ms. Lebowitz has served as co-bond and co-underwriter’s counsel.   Ms. Lebowitz is listed in the Red Book.
